A pod of dolphins between Portreath and Godrevy

A pod of dolphins between Portreath and Godrevy. What a wonderful bonus for our walk along the coastal footpath between Portreath and Godrevy.  A crisp day with a gentle breeze and lovely sunshine. Just as we were taking in the view and having that moment of ‘how lucky are we’ when the tip of a fin broke the surface, then another and another, soon the water was full of them and then of course they just had to start jumping. WOW!!! It doesn’t matter how many times you’ve seen them, dolphins are always a show stopper. With the birds over the pod it looked like they were having a good feed and a bit of play.
