The ‘Mineral Tramways’ Coast to Coast Cycle Trail in Cornwall

The Mineral Tramways cycle trail in Cornwall is just minutes from Tehidy Holiday Park. Running across Cornwall from Portreath to Devoran it is a gentle, family friendly route. Following the old tramway – the route used for moving copper from the mines in Central Cornwall to the coast, using horse and cart, it is designed to be user friendly. Most is off road and winds its way through woodland, valleys rich with mining heritage, alongside rivers and through nature reserves.  12 miles each way, the route is ideal for family rides. It’s one of our favourites.
