For a spectacular way to visit the town try the park and ride, it’s a small branch train that runs from St Erth to St Ives along the cliffs above the beaches and has stunning view of the ocean. Take it all the way to St Ives and then on your return hop off to explore and walk along the coastal footpath to the next station and get a later train. The perfect way to explore the coast and take it easy.
