Logan Rock near Porthcurno Cornwall

Green Bay, a wonderful beach, near Porthcurno and the Minnack Threatre, also famous for Logan Rock. The 80 tonne granite boulder balanced on the cliffs. It has been replaced after the navy moved it in the 1820’s to show what they could do, but villagers complained as it was a famous landmark, so they put it back again. The beach is a wonderful stretch of sand. The stretch of coastal footpath from Porthcurno to Lamorna is beautiful and takes in some unspoilt fishing villages. Logan Rock is only 35 minutes from Tehidy Holiday Park in Cornwall.
