Summer means Cornwall and that means staying at Tehidy and waking in its lovely secluded valley. We book knowing the site is completely reliable and that we will be welcomed as old friends. We also share its environmental values, an extra plus. Its ideal location means planning the day is easy whether you want coast, gardens, woodland or towns. This year, in a heatwave, we found plenty of cool shade within easy reach, and coming back to the park after outings meant excellent ice cream and a chat with our host, Richard. Leaving is always sad but we follow Tehidy’s social media posts through the year, keeping us in touch with our favourite destination in our favourite county.
