The Lost Gardens Of Heligan
Heligan is one of the most mysterious estates in England. Lost since WW1, the gardens were re-discovered in 1990 and lovingly brought back to life to become Europe’s largest garden restorations. Today, Heligan is a 200-acre paradise for garden lovers with winding paths leading to a sub-tropical journey through bamboo, tree ferns, giant rhubarb, bananas and so much more!

Trelissick Gardens
Perfectly positioned in its own peninsula, Trelissick gardens have panoramic views across the Falmouth estuary. Explore the meandering paths through the gardens, leading you to exotic plants and herbaceous gardens bursting with colour. Up until 2001 the house was home to the Copeland family, dating back to 1750s this grand home is now open to the public.

Glendurgan Garden
Big leaves, exotic flowers and a jungle like valley, this garden is not one to be missed. At Glendurgan there are three valleys to lose yourself in. In spring thousands of wildflowers carpet the sloping sides of the valley. Stroll through the gardens to the unspoilt hamlet of Durgan on the Helford River where you can watch the birds and bobbing boats. A much-loved part of the gardens is the laurel maze. Created in 1950, this living puzzle is at the heart of the garden creating a sense of adventure for all.

Trebah Gardens
Rated one of the top 80 gardens in the world, Trebah is a must see on your visit to Cornwall. The spectacular gardens descend 200 feet through a steep valley onto a private beach on the river Helford. The full 26 acres are well stocked with subtropical, exotic plant species. Trebah offers an excellent experience no matter when you choose to visit from 100 year old rhododendrons visible in spring to spectacular Hydrangeas in the autumn.

Trengwainton Garden
Dating back to the first half of the 20th century this warm, luxurious garden is home to award-winning magnolias and rhododendrons. Follow in the foot steps of the 1920s plant hunters to see plants that flowered in Britain for the first time. Winding wooded paths follow a half-mile incline towards Mount Bays dramatic sea views.

The Eden Project
Our list would not be complete without a mention of the iconic Eden Project. Opened in 2001 Eden claims the title of the World’s largest greenhouse (more commonly known as biomes). Step inside the biomes to find both a Tropical and Mediterranean region, each of which contain plants and trees representative of the areas. Love it or hate it but there is no denying that The Eden project is pretty spectacular.
